Despairing because I've fallen at some point again... defying you is not what I want... I want to show you how I love you Lord... humble me and make me strong... lift me up from this condemnation... I am sorry.
I've had questions, without answers
I've known sorrow, I have known pain
But there's one thing, that I'll cling to
You are faithful, Jesus You're true
When hope is lost, I'll call You Saviour
When pain surrounds, I'll call You healer
When silence falls, You'll be the song within my heart
In the lone hour of my sorrow
Through the darkest night of my soul
You surround me and sustain me
My defender, forevermore
When hope is lost, I'll call You Saviour
When pain surrounds, I'll call You healer
When silence falls, You'll be the song within my heart
And I will praise You, I will praise You
When the tears fall, still I will sing to You
And I will praise You, Jesus praise You
Through the suffering still I will sing
When hope is lost, I'll call You Saviour
When pain surrounds, I'll call You healer
When silence falls, You'll be the song within my heart
Oh yes, You are good to me
You've always been good to me
So trustworthy
When hope is lost, I'll call You Saviour
When pain surrounds, I'll call You healer
When silence falls, You'll be the song within my heart
And I will praise You, and I will praise You
When the tears fall, still I will sing to You
(I will sing to You) I will praise You
Jesus praise You through the suffering
Still I will sing
How faithful and true
Sustain me through and through
You are hope and truth
You're my spring of living water
You're my spring of living water
In the lone hour of my sorrow
Like a well watered garden
Who springs never fail
Faithful and truth
Like a well watered garden
Like a spring that never fails
You're my spring and never fails

One of the Holy Spirit's most precious (as in most precious) gift to me at the beginning of this year was the knowledge of HIS PURE GRACE (the one NOT balanced by the law). And that is what I wanna tell you right now --that assurance found in one of my most favorite chapters in the bible. The assurance that says:
"THERE IS THEREFORE NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS"
P-E-R-I-O-D
No other requirement except to believe in Jesus Christ --in His Life, Death, and Resurrection. That was the ONLY requirement given.
In the NKJV translation, you would find the phrase. . .
"for those who walk according to the spirit, and not according to the flesh"
BUT. . .
that phrase DOES NOT appear in the ORIGINAL Greek bible.
It was as if the translators themselves could not believe that THERE is absolutely no more condemnation to those who are in Christ!!! AS in wala na.
Jesus Christ has paid for all our PAST, PRESENT, and yes EVEN FUTURE SINS!!! (Now, imagine how powerful that is! ) That's why He said "It is Finished"
If God would still condemn us (or punish us for that matter) for the sins we commit, then He has to APOLOGIZE to Jesus for punishing Him, because Jesus was already the payment for all our sins (I repeat, PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE). In court law, it would be called DOUBLE JEOPARDY if you punish someone for the same offense.
That's why God assures you right now Ate Penny...
"THERE IS NO MORE CONDEMNATION"
:-D
I rejoice daily when I meditate on that TRUTH. :-)
Wow, this must be my longest comment so far, hehehe!
